LaSalle Network has partnered with a leading candy company headquartered in Chicago seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead an enterprise Product Portfolio Management (ePPM) tool implementation. The ideal candidate will have a deeper understanding of ePPM solutions such as Planview, Planisware, Sopheon Accolade or SAP ePPM. This role is essential for overseeing tool deployment, ensuring successful integration into existing systems and aligning with the business needs of the product lifecycle management and commercialization process. Experience with consumer-packaged goods (CPG) industry processes is highly desirable. Project Manager Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end implementation projects of ePPM tools, including planning, execution and post-implementation support Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions and ensure the tool integrates seamlessly with other business systems Manage project scope, budget and timeline, ensuring adherence to project goals and quality standards Communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels, providing regular updates and addressing potential challenges proactively Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation including project plans, risk assessments and status reports Serve as the primary liaison between business units and IT teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications Provide training and support to end-users to maximize adoption and efficiency of the ePPM tool Drive continuous improvement initiatives post-implementation to enhance tool functionality and user experience Project Manager Requirements: 5+ years in project management with specific focus on ePPM tool implementations Hands-on experience implementing at least one major ePPM tool such as Planview, Planisware, Sopheon Accolade or SAP ePPM. Familiarity with competing solutions is also acceptable Understanding of product lifecycle management and commercialization processes. Experience in consumer-packaged goods (CPG) is highly preferred Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively and adhere to deadlines Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field. PMP or similar certification is a plus This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, will last for at least one year, and the hourly rate is $60-75/hr. Candidate must be willing to come onsite in Chicago 3 days every week.
