**Job Title: Maintenance Electrician****Job Description**Immediate Direct Hire opening for a Limited Maintenance Electrician or Plant Journeyman Electrician in Beaverton, Oregon! This is a great long-term opportunity with benefits at a growing company.Shifts:Monday - Friday with occasional Saturdays when neededSwing Shift: 3pm - 11pmGrave Shift: 11pm - 7amResponsibilities:- Perform preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, measuring positions, repositioning components; and observing operations, vibrations, and noise levels- Perform emergency/breakdown maintenance as necessary to support plant operations- Accurately use measurement and test equipment- Perform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system, and other repairs and installations as needed- Install wire and conduit for new and existing equipment such as conveyors, programmable controllers, converting and corrugating machinery- Replace faulty electrical components of machines such as relays, switches, and motors, and position sensing devices such as proximity switch timers, scanners, and photoelectric devices- Diagnose and repair/replace faulty electronic components such as printed circuit boards- Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems- Troubleshoot drives, i.e., AC and DC- Read electrical block diagrams, schematics, as well as PLC ladder logic- Maintain clean and organized work areas, and clean up work areas as part of completing assigned tasks- Accurately and completely prepare and maintain maintenance records and other paperwork**Hard Skills**+ Preventive maintenance+ Emergency maintenance+ Measurement and test equipment usage+ Electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system repairs+ Wire and conduit installation+ Electrical component replacement+ Electronic component diagnosis and repair+ Pneumatic and hydraulic system troubleshooting+ AC and DC drive troubleshooting+ Reading electrical block diagrams and schematics+ PLC ladder logic**Soft Skills**+ Attention to detail+ Problem-solving+ Organizational skills+ Effective communication+ Time management**Job Type**This is a permanent position.**Work Site**This is a fully on-site position in Beaverton, Oregon.**Work Environment**This is an industrial plant environment.
