Electrician Helper - Multiple Openings Available in the Nashville Area

Overview:

TradeCorp is actively recruiting skilled Electrician Helpers for various clients in the Nashville area. As an Electrician Helper, you will work alongside licensed electricians to install, maintain, and repair electrical and power systems, contributing to a variety of commercial and residential projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist electricians with installing and maintaining electrical systems, including power systems, sound systems, security systems, lighting, and ceiling fans.
• Help install electrical outlets, circuit breakers, and other essential electrical components.
• Secure brackets, pull wire through conduits, and replace old fuse boxes as needed.
• Support in-home and business rewiring, and assist in setting up appliances and electrical fixtures.
• Aid in motor, generator, transformer, and electronic controller repairs.
• Work with engineers, technicians, line installers, and inspectors to ensure compliance and project accuracy.
• Contribute to job site safety and maintenance, including clearing debris, managing storage areas, and following safety protocols.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Experience : Minimum of 1 year in electrical work, preferably on commercial or residential job sites.
• Skills : Proficient in reading blueprints, using wire strippers, clamps, and basic hand and power tools.
• License : Valid state-issued driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Equipment : Experience handling small cranes and basic knowledge of electrical systems.

Duties Include:

• Install electrical equipment, poles, and high mast components as required for specific projects.
• Pull electrical wire from service points to equipment.
• Assist with excavation, debris removal, and conduit placement.
• Set up and remove daily maintenance of traffic (MOT) controls.
• Maintain organized storage and transport materials to job sites as needed.
• Display a positive attitude and flexibility to perform necessary tasks to keep the project moving forward.

Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Foundational knowledge of electrical systems, machines, and tools used in construction and repair.
• Understanding of customer service principles, legal codes, and safety regulations.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
• Strong verbal communication and teamwork skills.
• Self-motivated, quick learner with a positive attitude and strong analytical abilities.
